Las Tarascas is a female-led kitchen on South Mason Road in Katy where everything is made from scratch — and every plate tastes like it came straight from someone's abuela.

Best menudo in town. The broth is flavorful. Also the best tameles in town. They're not small wimpy tamales. They're big and delicious. The ladies behind the counter are always very friendly.

It is a mini market with a very good variety of mexican and Latin products. I even found Carne Seca (dried beef) Monterrey Style. In its cafeteria they have delicious Barbacoa and Carnitas Tacos, be aware their maiz (corn) tacos have a very decent size and plenty of filling👌 😋 so one taco could be considered equivalent to 2 tacos 🌮. Their Menudo it is delicious too.

You can tell the ladies that cook the food take pride in their food. The tacos pastor are fabulous. Cooking area is clean salsa taste fresh. People that work there are super friendly!

My absolute favorite meat market !!! I have been a customer for years now! I don’t go anywhere else for the meat. The groceries are a little over priced but the meat is worth it! They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. Delicious ! They also sell tamales and salsa !! Love it !!
